Commercial research activity is research that is performed by Customer for compensation and includes, but is not limited to, research that is in fulfillment of or funded by a government related program or initiative the results of which will be sold or serviced to or by nonacademic markets and used by nonacademic users located on nonacademic premises. The Software may be used by Users and Students only in conjunction with classroom instruction and coursework directly related to Customer's post-secondary degree requirements, including the formulation of theses and dissertations, and Customer's noncommercial research activities ("Teaching and Research"). The software is also available for performing non-commercial and non-profit academic research work and aims to include SAS software courses into the curriculum.
